Summer of 2020. Cops getting hit. The street screaming to defund the NYPD. Max Rose marched and posted it. She did not hesitate. She wrote: Words cannot describe how much I love this photo and how proud I am to have him as my Congressman. That is her. In her own hand. Five months later this borough sent him home. She never took it back. The tweet does not say defund. The summer did. She still posted the heart.
